Initially drawn as part of a feature design about Dutch footballer Ruud Gullit, this typeface idea then expanded to encompass the entire 'Kits Issue' for MUNDIAL. Taking inspiration from both shirt numbering & Ultras' banners, Rudi Dil Mono was drawn using an extremely basic grid in order to emulate the simplicity of hand-stitched banners and flags. While the primate glyph set is 'mono', there are also a number of alternate characters that protrude from the grid in order to give a touch of flexibility and flair.
